Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian Studies in Canada: Critical and Pedagogical Approaches to the Study of Languages, Literatures and Cultures
El hispanismo y los estudios luso-brasileños en Canadá: Acercamientos críticos y pedagógicos al estudio de las lenguas, literaturas y culturas
Desde 1917 la Asociación Americana de Profesores de Español y Portugués (AATSP) promueve el intercambio de ideas y experiencias entre los profesores de lengua, literatura y cultura. El Capítulo de Ontario de la AATSP (AATSP-ON) invita a participar en su Congreso anual que se celebrará este año en la Universidad de Ottawa, gracias a la iniciativa de su Departamento de lenguas y literaturas modernas, el viernes 3 y sábado 4 de noviembre, con el auspicio de la Embajada de la República Argentina y la Agregaduría de Educación de la Embajada de España. La invitación se extiende a profesores, investigadores, estudiantes y público en general, interesados en presentar una ponencia o un taller en español, francés, inglés o portugués.
El programa de este año estará estructurado principalmente en torno al tema de Acercamientos críticos y pedagógicos al estudio de las lenguas, literaturas y culturas hispánicas o luso-brasileñas en Canadá, aunque no exclusivamente.
Since 1917, the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP) has promoted the exchange of ideas and experiences among teachers of language, literature and culture. The Ontario Chapter of the AATSP (AATSP-ON) invites you to participate in its annual conference, hosted this year by the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures of the University of Ottawa, on Friday, November 3 and Saturday November 4, 2017, with the support of the Embassy of Republic of Argentina, and the Education Office of the Embassy of Spain. Professors, researchers, teachers, students and the general public are welcome to present papers or workshops in English, French, Portuguese or Spanish.
This year’s program will be structured primarily but not exclusively around Critical and Pedagogical Approaches to the Study of Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian Languages, Literatures and Cultures in Canada.
