Service Opportunities

Service is at the heart of the Catholic faith, and by helping others in need, we hope our confirmation candidates (and all youth of our parish) have a deep experience of the movements of the Holy Spirit.

At Christ the King we ask our confirmation candidates to complete at least 20 hours of service over the course of two years with at least ten of those hours being within the liturgy as ushers, lectors, altar servers,  or singing in the choir.

Parish Library
Do you love books and learning about the faith? We could use your passion for learning in the Parish Library on Sundays after the Masses.
What We Need: Help parishioners with finding and checking out books in the library.

Students for Life

Students for Life meets at 7PM every third Tuesday of the month at Round Table Pizza on Leslie Road in Richland. Members participate in various projects to support life in the Tri-Cities, such as praying for an end to abortion, making gift boxes for nursing home, writing letters to human trafficking victims, and so much more! Students from middle school up to college age are welcome to attend.

Easter Egg Hunt

The Knights of Columbus sponsor an annual Easter egg hunt for the children of our parish. We need help hiding eggs at 11AM. Meet at the school soccer field!

CK School Auction
Our annual school auction has several shifts on Saturday, May 3rd from 5PM-10PM as well as cleanup on Sunday, May 4th. Please contact Caitlin Elder at celder@ckschool.net for more information or to sign up for a shift.

Vacation Bible School Crew Leaders

Please mark your calendars for June 16-20, our annual Vacation Bible School! We are looking for teens who can serve as crew leaders for 5 kids throughout the week. This is a great way for teens to teach elementary school kids about Jesus and earn some service hours over the summer. We'd love to have your teen help out!  We have a link for teens to sign up to be Vacation Bible School crew leaders.
