Here's some tips and resources on how to protect your peace, clear your mind, and care for your body!
We hear it all the time in school- there's even a graduation requirement for it! But the reality is, physical health is extremely important. Taking care of your body means making time to exercise, drinking enough water, making healthy food choices, and the list goes on. But while physical health is crucial to our lives, mental and sexual health are just as important!
In our world, we are required to take on task after task every single day. As a result, we place stress not just on our bodies, but also on our brains. And ensuring that we maintain our physical health hinges on how we are doing mentally. That is why it is so important to take breaks, do activities we enjoy, get enough sleep, and if necessary, see a therapist. Remember, it is ok to ask for help.
Though it can be scary to begin the conversation, sexual health is just as important as mental and physical health. In fact, they all work together. If you aren't making your thoughts known with your partner, you may end up physically injured or in a poor mental state. So in any circumstance, make sure you and your partner are both on the same page with consent, sexual boundaries, and so on. Remember that sex should be a mutually positive experience!
