Melih Madanoglu is Michael A. Leven Endowed Chair and Professor in Hospitality Management in Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University (KSU). Dr. Madanoglu earned a doctoral degree from Virginia Tech University in the United States. His publications appeared in leading journals such as Journal of Management, Journal of Retailing, International Journal of Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Small Business Economics, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Small Business Management, and International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management. Dr. Madanoglu’s research efforts received several institutional and international awards. Most recently he was the winner of 2023 KSU Outstanding Scholarship and Creative Activity Award.  

Dr. Madanoglu has been serving as the President of International Association of Hospitality Financial Management Education (iAHFME). He is the Research Methodology Editor of the Service Industries Journal. He also serves on the editorial boards of International Journal of Hospitality Management, International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal, Tourism Economics along with several other journals.
