Indian Classical Music

Introduction 

Shri Somnath Jayade is an exponent of Indian Classical Music. He has qualified for the Alankar examination of Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalay (equivalent to a master's degree) with flying colors. He has been teaching classical singing and harmonium for the last 19 years at Pune and has made a name for himself in the Pune Classical Music circuit. During the pandemic, he was in great demand as a teacher through the online medium. He has been invited as an examiner on the Visharad examination of Gandharva Mahavidyalay for many years. 

In the `Geet Ramayan' competition conducted in 2021, he stood second in the whole nation in the teacher's category.
