This website serves as a simple platform for sharing analyses related to the investigation of current global practices of DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) downgrades. You can easily find the status quo of DoH downgrades in various aspects, including the request combinations of DoH queries, geolocations of DoH clients, and applied filtering techniques.
The measurement was conducted from August to October 2023, utilizing over 406,000 vantage points from approximately 220 countries. We paid attention to ensuring ethical conduct throughout the measurement process.
We analyzed DoH downgrades in three different ways: by request combinations, by geolocations (i.e., ASes), and by applied filtering techniques. You can delve into each result by following the links below. Note that we consider a country to have enough vantage points for analysis if it has more than 50 vantage points.
