We tried to figure out whether DoH downgrades are affected by a geolocation of a DoH query client. For this, we set ASN (Autonomous System Number) as the minimum unit of the geolocation. We obtained the ASN of each vantage point by using the IP address and the MaxMind GeoIP2 database.
You can find the downgrade rates for each AS below. The ASes are categorized by their respective countries, and the countries are further categorized by their continents. Additionally, ASes are sorted by the number of users. We utilized the APNIC ASPOP dataset for this analysis. Only the ASes with more than 40 vantage points are displayed here. Up to ten ASes are displayed for each country.
