This Privacy Policy describes how the CompTIA A+ Security+ Prep mobile application ("the App") handles information when you use it. I built this app as a freemium product, and your privacy is of utmost importance.
1. Data Collection
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
No account creation is required.
No email address, name, location, or device identifiers are collected.
No analytics, crash reporting SDKs, or advertising networks are used.
No data is sent to any external server operated by the developer.
All your practice test results, progress, and weak point statistics are stored locally on your device and are never shared with anyone.
2. iCloud Sync (Optional)
If you have iCloud enabled and the App offers a sync feature in the future, your progress data (non-personal) may be stored in your private iCloud account to sync across your own Apple devices. This data is managed entirely by Apple and is not accessible by the developer.
3. Purchases and Subscriptions
Any payments are processed directly by Apple via the App Store. The developer does not receive or store any payment details (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.). All subscription management is handled through your Apple ID settings.
4. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third‑party services that process user data. No data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
5. Children’s Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the App (which is technically not possible given its design), please contact me and I will take appropriate action.
6. Changes to This Policy
If any changes are made to this privacy policy, they will be posted within the App or on the official support page. Significant changes will be accompanied by an update notice within the App when applicable.
