How to get to campus from the city:
The university campus is roughly 3.5 km away from the city center, and it is well connected with the city via bus.
From bus stops Barbarossaplatz, Mainfrankentheater or Berliner Ring (north-east of the city center) take bus 14 (towards Gerbrunn) and get off at stop Mathematisches Institut, or take bus 114 (towards Universität Sportzentrum) or 214 (towards Würzburg THWS) and get off at stop Universitätsbibliothek.
From bus stop Sanderglacisstraße (south-east of the city center) take bus 10 (towards Hubland TGZ) and get off at stop Universitätsbibliothek.

Recommended options:
Day pass (Tageskarte), which allows you to use any bus or tram within Würzburg at the day of purchase until 3a.m. at the following day. Prize: 6,10€.
6 ticket bundle (6er-Karte), which allows you to take six independent trips. This ticket needs to be validated when you enter the bus/tram, then it is valid for the next 90 minutes. Prize: 16,60€.
Both ticket options can be bought from the driver at the bus (cash only), via the WVV App, or at a ticket machine (for instance at the central train station, at Barbarossaplatz or at Sanderring).
