How to get to Würzburg:
Your best option is likely to travel by train or plane to Würzburg.
By train: There are many train connections to Würzburg Hbf. Train schedules and tickets can be found on the German railway website or on The Trainline.
On the day of travel it might be helpful to use the DB navigator app of the German railway for up-to-date information on your train connection.
By plane: The most convenient international airports to arrive to Würzburg are Frankfurt am Main and Nürnberg.
From Frankfurt am Main Airport there are direct trains to Würzburg Hbf.
From Nürnberg Airport you take the U-Bahn to Nürnberg Hbf, and then a direct train to Würzburg Hbf.
By bus: There are some Flixbus connections to Würzburg.
