In June 1994, Dr Sam McIlvanie established Companion Animal Clinic as a full service, small animal veterinary clinic in Yakima, Washington. His mission was to provide exceptional care to your pets in a caring, friendly and affordable manner. Since then, he has added commited and caring staff including our receptionist, Sierra, our licensed and experienced technicians Diana and Jenna, as well as our devoted assistants Malorie and Gaby. In June of 2022, after 28 years of owning and running the clinic, Dr Sam sold the clinic to our wonderful Dr Michelle Knerr. Together we strive to give your pets the best care possible and, in doing so, provide you with peace of mind.
