Nativity on the Green 2025

Friday 19th December 2025, 6pm - 7pm

Join your local community as we celebrate Christmas with a live retelling of the timeless Nativity story, on the Green at Bishopdown Farm.  You are invited to come dressed as your favourite Nativity character and join in with the action, or simply come and enjoy listening to the story!

Get in the Christmas mood with some well-loved classic carols, and enjoy mince pies, mulled wine or a hot chocolate with family, friends and neighbours.

We look forward to sharing this evening with the community as we celebrate the good news of love, hope and peace together this Christmas.

Come dressed as your favourite Nativity character to join in the telling of this special Christmas story!

Can you help?

We need lots of people to put on an event like this and at the moment we're looking for help in the following ways:

1 - Can you play a brass instrument? Let us know if you would be able to provide a live accompaniment for the carols, it would make such a lovely addition to the atmosphere

2 - Would you like to 'act' as one of the Nativity characters? These are non-speaking parts and no acting experience is necessary! All we need is for people to follow the script and move to the right place on stage!
