How to Search for an Email in Gmail
If you need to find an email quickly, you can use the search bar in Gmail.
Find job offers or interview emails fast.
Look up school, doctor, or government emails.
Save time instead of scrolling through all your emails.
Open Gmail (mail.google.com).
At the top, find the search bar (it looks like a white box).
Type a keyword (a name, email address, or word from the email). In the first example, I searched for a keyword that I knew was in an email.
In the second example, I searched for an email address. You can also search by emails that have attachments or emails sent in the last 7 days.
Press Enter 🔍 and Gmail will show matching emails.
