Psalms at Morning and Evening Prayer

One or more Psalms (or portions thereof) are appointed in the Weekday Lectionary for each Morning and Evening prayer service. I drew on this scheme to select one main Psalm for each office. My objective was to ensure that, during each year every Psalm is read. To that end, on a few days, a second short Psalm is added.

A small number of Psalms are generally deemed less suitable for public worship (for example those that focus on vengeance); these I have added alongside Old Testament readings in the Old Testament reading plans.
