When you create an account and use the App, we collect:
Email Address (required): Used for account creation, authentication, and communication

Clothing Photos: Images you upload of your wardrobe items
When-In-Use Location: We collect your location only when you actively use the outfit generation feature to provide weather-based recommendations
No Background Tracking: We do NOT collect location data when the app is not in use
Purpose: Location is used solely to fetch local weather conditions for outfit suggestions
Crash Reports: Error logs and crash reports via Sentry to improve app stability
Usage Statistics: How you interact with features (e.g., number of outfits generated, clothing items added)
Device Information: Device type, operating system version, app version
Purchase History: Managed through RevenueCat for subscription management
Subscription Status: Free tier or Premium tier status
We use your information for the following purposes:
Authentication: To create and manage your account
Wardrobe Management: To store and organize your clothing items
AI Outfit Generation: To create personalized outfit suggestions
Weather Integration: To provide weather-appropriate outfit recommendations
Error Tracking: To identify and fix bugs

What is shared:
Clothing photos you upload are sent to OpenAI's GPT-4o-mini Vision API for analysis
Images are optimized and compressed before transmission
Purpose:
To analyze clothing category, colors, patterns, seasonality, and style
To generate outfit suggestions based on your wardrobe
Data usage by OpenAI:
OpenAI processes images for analysis only
Your photos are NOT used to train AI models (per OpenAI's data usage policies)
Images are transmitted securely via HTTPS
Your control:
You can decline AI analysis when prompted
You can delete your data at any time
What is shared:
User authentication data
Profile information
Clothing item data and images
Outfit combinations
Purpose:
Database storage and management
User authentication
Secure file storage

All data encrypted in transit (HTTPS)
Row Level Security (RLS) enabled to protect your data
Only you can access your own data
What is shared:
Purchase receipts
Subscription status
Anonymous user identifier
Purpose:
To manage in-app subscriptions
To validate purchases across devices
To handle refunds and subscription changes
What is shared:
Crash reports and error logs
Device information (type, OS version)
App version
What is NOT shared:
Personal identifiable information is anonymized
No email addresses or names in error logs
No user-generated content
Purpose:
To detect and fix app crashes
To improve app stability
Your data is retained as long as your account is active
Clothing photos and wardrobe data are stored indefinitely while your account exists
When you delete your account, we delete:
All profile information
All clothing photos and data
All outfit combinations
Usage statistics
Authentication credentials
Purchase history may be retained for tax and legal compliance (up to 7 years)
This data is anonymized and not linked to your profile
Account deletion is processed immediately
Some cached data may persist for up to 30 days in backups
You can view all your data within the App
You can export your clothing items and outfits (contact support)
You can update your profile information at any time in Settings
You can edit or delete individual clothing items
You can delete your entire account from Profile → Delete Account
This action is permanent and cannot be undone
You can decline AI analysis for new clothing items
You can revoke location permission in device settings
You can stop using the App at any time

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@combinai.app so we can delete it.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:
Encryption: All data transmitted via HTTPS/TLS
Access Controls: Row Level Security on database
Authentication: Secure password hashing
Storage: Industry-standard cloud infrastructure (Supabase)
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and that your data receives an adequate level of protection.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
Updating the "Last Updated" date
Posting the new Privacy Policy in the App
Sending an email notification for material changes
Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services not operated by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
