If you are here it means you have never solved a Rubik's cube and you want to learn how to do it, possibly without diving into complex tasks and algorithms...
Well if that's what you want this is the wrong page...
Then why would you follow this tutorial? You should know that the actual easiest method makes you practice certain aspects of a very popular seppedsolving method: CFOP. So if in the future you plan on changing method, you'll have a much harder time adapting your mindset. This tutorial is made for those who plan on getting fast at the cube (sub 50 secs) without being conditioned by the typycal beginer method. This tutorial will teach you blockbuilding aspects common to two very different methods: CFOP and Roux, as they both inherit something from Columns. This being said, now that's your choice.
To follow this tutorial you need to know the Rubik's cube notation... click here if you don't know it.
Columns is a very efficient method* that in its simplest configuration only requires 6 fast algorithms and intuition. Here is a basic overview of it:

Check out beginner method algorithms here
This is done ignoring the centers. It can very easily be done intuitively, but if you want, you can do that algorithmically using R U R' U' on a corner psotioned on top of where you want it to be until it's solved (it must be on your right too).
Again, ignoring centers. To do this use the beginner method strategy.
Algs required: 2 (same algs as before)
This step is done using a combination of intuition and two algorithms, called sune and antisune.
Using the J-perm you can swap two adjacent corners. This is sufficient to solve any corner permutation.
Algs required: J-perm
No algortihms, can be solved using M' U M triggers.
Really easy step, just use M' U2 M triggers to insert edges.
to insert edges just use M' U2 M triggers
All the last layer edges can be solved using just a U-perm.
Once you feel confortable solving the cube like this, you can switch to Standard Columns or to any method you wish.
