Laser cutting is often employed in the metalworking industry to cut metal into desired shapes. Some common products that are produced are: beams, columns, pipes, tubing, and sheet metal. These products can be used in a variety of industries, such as construction, automotive, and aerospace.
This is the code used to create the images that will be made, how the setup of the laser will be and what materials were used, and the foundation that would be used to work in RDWorksV8. This was all done in VCarve Pro.

IMG_2411.movThis is the video demonstrating how the circle was cut out, and how the images were ingrained into the wood. First, the laser is positioned in the area in which the cicrle will be taken out of, then it is coded to engrain the images onto the wood as shown in the video. After that, the circle is cut out of the wood the project is complete.
