La Semillera is an agroecological and community-based educational farm where practices are implemented for the production of food that is both economically and culturally sustainable in Vieques. From this space, we promote training and educational programs in agroecology and beekeeping, strengthening the knowledge and skills needed to support food sovereignty within our community.
The projects created by La Colmena Cimarrona are fiscally sponsored by Centro de Economía Creativa (CEC), Inc., a Puerto Rican non-profit with federal 501(c)(3) and Puerto Rico state (1101.01) tax-exempt status.
