This award, established in 2018, is to be presented annually by the Penn State Nursing Alumni Society to an alumnus/alumna who has provided outstanding volunteer service to the College of Nursing. Volunteer service can be in the areas of mentoring students, board and council service, serving as a preceptor for students enrolled in any education program in the college, etc. The College of Nursing Alumni Society makes the final decision on the awardee.
The nomination period for the award is now open. If you know a graduate who should receive this award, please submit a nomination on his or her behalf. The nominee must be able to attend the awards luncheon on Saturday, March 30, 2019 in State College.
Criteria:
1. Must be a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University College of Nursing.
2. Must have outstanding volunteer service to the College of Nursing.
3. Must be able to attend the March 30, 2019 Awards Luncheon in State College to receive the award.
