Hey ! I'm Kayla the current lead mentor. 

I currently attend Essex County College in Newark, Nj studying sociology. My previous major was Social Sciences. I enjoy working with kids and watching them develop into their most successful selves. My career goal is to be a social worker based at elementary schools. A fun fact about me is that I used to be a professional dancer!

My name is Dacquire Simmons, I am a criminal justice major and the rising 10th grade mentor. When I graduate from college, I want to use my degree to become a detective. A fun fact about me is that I love fishing.  

Thaddeus Chestnut is a sophomore CS student currently attending PCCC. They left high school as the valedictorian of P-Tech high school, a small high school right across the street, but their story doesn't stop at good grades.

Thaddeus is enthusiastic to aid and learn with every trial and tribulation that comes from being a mentor. Definitely come and ask about club opportunities or advice on choosing a major.

Hi, I’m Nanyeli and I will be one of the Freshman mentors. I have worked at a summer camp before and I want to be a teacher one day. I work at AMC as the shift leader and now I get to work with you guys!
