Finally a section listing various other materials. Some are here because they're a bit theologically or culturally rigid, or clearly American Evangelical with all that that implies - which might not quite suit British or New Zealand perspectives. Others are here because although they're very good they're not free and they don't transfer easily into the standard study format I've used here. But that may be a good thing ... after all, people put more value on something they have to pay for!
Three British courses to introduce people to the Christian faith and hopefully convince or convert them (if that's the language you use.) I've worked with all three courses and would happily recommend any of them - but they do require money as well as time and effort.
Alpha Course Alpha is good, but they don't make it easy for you to get the stuff free off the internet.
Christianity Explored A good 'Conservative Evangelical' alternative if Alpha is a bit 'charismatic' for you.
Pilgrim Course A third option, the formal Church of England one - but also good, particularly for Confirmation preparation etc.
Anne & Graham Lotz Old-fashioned Billy Graham style, but well presented as an effort to preserve a lifetime's teaching material. Its 'soundness' reflects a particular set of viewpoints.
Free Sunday School Lessons Decent quality and there's lots to explore; again its 'soundness' reflects a particular set of viewpoints.
The Bible Unpacked This was an early option I went to for study material, and it's not bad - but it's basically a 'this verse says that' approach. Our groups found it all a bit too obvious and directive - they were done in 10 minutes and found themselves asking 'well, what now'. Perhaps a different leader would be able to deal with that better.
