In order to improve our skills in the machine shop I made a wooden bandsaw box. Below is how I made my box from start to finish,
The first step was to deisgn my box. I wanted to make a drawer that could hold a few things so thats what I did. I used solidworks to make the cad then put my cad into a solidworks drawing.

After I finished designing i I moved onto cutting 6 pieces of wood on the chop saw.
I then glued all of the pieces together and left them overnight. This is the big box that I cut things out of to make the overall shape.
After the pieces glued together I took my project to the bandsaw and went to work doing numerous cutting operations in order to make my box. This step took the longest since thats how all pieces of the box need to be manufactured.
After I cut all the pieces out I sanded them so they would all fit together nicely.
As a last touch I added finish onto the outside of the box.
