Coin Vault AI ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Coin Vault AI mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.
1. Information We Collect
Coin Vault AI does not collect, store, or share any personal information on our servers. All coin collection data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced via Apple iCloud, which is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
2. Camera and Photo Access
The App requests access to your device camera and photo library solely to capture or select images of coins for AI-powered identification and grading. Photos are sent to our AI service provider (xAI) for real-time analysis and are not stored by the AI provider after processing is complete.
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
xAI (Grok): Processes coin photos for AI identification and grading. Images are not retained.
Numista: Provides coin encyclopedia and catalog data. No personal data is shared.
PCGS: Provides coin grading reference and pricing data. No personal data is shared.
MetalMetric: Provides live precious metal spot prices. No personal data is shared.
RevenueCat: Manages subscription purchases. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details.
Apple iCloud: If enabled, syncs your coin collection across your Apple devices.
4. Data Storage
All coin collection data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If iCloud sync is enabled, data is also stored in your private iCloud container, accessible only to you.
5. Analytics and Tracking
Coin Vault AI does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not track your usage, location, or behavior.
6. Children's Privacy
Coin Vault AI does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. The App does not require account creation or login.
7. Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all App data at any time by deleting the App. iCloud data can be managed through Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
