If you stick a Babelfish in your ear, you can immediately understand anything that has been said in any form of language by any alien anywhere in the galaxy. The Babelfish decodes the brainwave matrix of your counterpart and transmits their intent directly to your mind. Similar to Babelfish, our goal is to build tools leveraging the latest advances of today’s AI to better communicate with animals, plants, and other people. (For the full background on Babelfish and psychohistory read this blog post.)
This research seminar consists of two parts:
1. Connectedness
2. COIN-teamwork: Reading the collective mind
Connectedness – In an initial admission block workshop, participants will get connected in hybrid mode, co-located at the local participating institutions (MIT, U. Cologne, U. Bamberg, HSLU), to learn the foundational technologies of Happimetrics for the second, teamwork part.
COIN-teamwork – form a small team, a COIN or Collaborative Innovation Network, to build mind-reading tools! Combine cutting-edge research in AI, human dynamics, biotechnology, music, and architecture together with leading scientists from around the world to develop new solutions for increased wellbeing.
Participants will join active research projects -, using latest advances of AI and SNA, and combining it with biology and psychology. Participants will work together with researchers and practitioners in the field. The result of the seminar will be new software and hardware solutions, as well as scientific publications.
