I have already done the procedure recommended by support, to use the private key recovery tool and use it in another wallet, but when checking the ZCASH balance in my Coinomi wallet, I see that the balance is in an address that is not part of my wallet (t1gx6D5ByVJMRgXTiWmzSAFpbWKnR4gHP8o).

Coinomi is a great option for a cryptocurrency wallet. It's free and features high-level security, built-in exchanges and the ability to hold over a thousand different types of tokens on more than one hundred types of blockchains.

One major drawback of Coinomi is that it doesn't offer an option for cold storage. Because the wallet is internet-based, it remains exposed to certain types of common cyberthreats. Another downside is that Coinomi is no longer open source. Having closed source code limits transparency and means that users can't foolproof its code to verify for bugs or other code issues.

Coinomi offers multiple customer support options to assist both new and experienced crypto traders. For example, the wallet provides a support page with articles and solutions in multiple languages. It also has a YouTube channel with videos demonstrating various actions users may have trouble with, from restoring wallets on a new device to manually adding an ERC20 token, a type of digital asset created using the Ethereum blockchain.

Coinomi states on its website that no Coinomi wallet has ever been hacked or compromised since the company was established in 2014. The Coinomi security system supports a password, biometric lock on mobile devices, a recovery phrase of 12, 15, 18, 21 or 24 words and a private key to protect your funds.

While Coinomi is a hot wallet, which means it's always online, you store your private key locally on your device. This means that hackers cannot access your key via an online attack because you aren't storing your private keys on a platform that is continuously connected to the internet.

Coinomi used to be an open-source wallet, but that is currently not the case. In 2020, the wallet publically tweeted that it moved to closed-source code because scammers were viewing the code and replicating it as malicious clones of Coinomi wallets. Some users have voiced concern over this decision and its resulting lack of transparency in online forums and reviews.

As a multi-chain wallet, Coinomi supports various blockchains, allowing users to manage various crypto assets from a single location. The wallet currently features native support for bitcoin and most major altcoins and tokens. It also supports every ERC20, Omnilayer, BEP2 and TRC10 token.

Coinomi is free to download and use. The cryptocurrency wallet does not add any transaction fees for sending or receiving crypto. It notes that your transaction payments are sent directly to the miners.

The best way to contact Coinomi if you have an account is to open a ticket through its customer support system and talk with a representative over live chat. You can also email a representative at support@coinomi.com or reach them by mail at Craigmuir Chambers, Road Town, Tortola, VG 1110, British Virgin Islands.

Coinomi is a user-friendly crypto wallet that you can use on desktop or mobile devices. Coinomi mobile wallets have been downloaded on the Google Play and App stores over a million times. With its built-in cryptocurrency exchanges, new users can trade their wallet assets and tokens confidently while avoiding the complicated process of other wallets that require a more advanced understanding of crypto platforms.

So about 2 years ago I set up a Coinomi wallet, wrote down my seed phrase and password etc, and used it for a few weeks and everything was fine. I stopped using it for a while and only recently remembered I still had coins in my wallet.

I've already done a "Resynchronize all" as well as deleting my wallet and restoring using my seed. Neither has helped. I raised a ticket with support a few days ago and still haven't heard anything.

Hello, i am posting in regards to a transaction that i made which went wrong, on my coinomi wallet i had about 7 usd left of btc and i also sent off 30 usd of ltc to the coinomi wallet through coinsquare,

i waited for a bit, and when i saw nothing. I re synchronized the litecoin wallet specifically, assuming that this would "refresh it" as i wasnt too clear at all on what this does, nor could i find amything on the web or your support site.

Once i resynchronized, i closed and opened the app, and my balance showed up (the 30 dollars of ltc i sent to coinomi), but then it disappeared, and everytime i tried to open up the app again, it showed the balance for a second then went back to zero.

Now i am panicking at this point, i went to recover wallet option, and then typed in the 18 word key phrase i remember having saved on my wallet last, and recovered it. Now i am super worried, as there is absolutely nothing showing up on the wallet i recovered.

So I have been using the Coinomi desktop wallet for many years now with no problem. Recently I sent some Dash to my wallet there. I never received the coins because even though my wallet said they were received my balance never went up. When I tried to spend the coins it was showing no balance. I contacted the support department which said they were working on the Dash wallet. They stated my coins were safe and the wallet would connect and the balance refreshed when all the work was done. They were unable to give me a timeline in which this would happen.

Instead, they referred me to a recovery tool they use to export private keys. Keep in mind that the receiving address i used has the Dash because I went on a block explorer and that address has the amount I sent there. Anyway, to make a long story short the recovery tool will not show the address and therefore wont show the private key so I can export it to a working Dash wallet. It has been over a week now and of course the Dash wallet is still down. I still have no access to my funds, and cannot even export it to a new wallet, even though my funds are on the blockchain. Coinomi is either unable or unwilling to fix the Dash wallet and to say I am disappointed is an understatement.

They provide a tool to recover the Algorand secret key from their 24-word passphrase:

-coinomi (you need to download the zip file from the release page and open the file bip39-standalone.html from the zip file.)

Hello. I have some ZEC in my Coinomi wallet since about a year or so ago but I suddenly was not able to send ZEC anywhere anymore. So I tried importing my seed in other wallets such as Trustwallet but still no luck.

I finally decided to install Zecwallet Lite on my Windows 11 PC and I allowed the whole thing to synchronize. So far so good. But I still cannot send ZEC. Anytime I try to send ZEC anywhere, it says Step 1 of 1, and then I get this error in Zecwallet Lite:

ZecWallet Lite does not support the new fee structures. zcash.conf is the configuration used in zcashd, the full node implementation of the Zcash protocol. zcashd does have its own wallet bundled with the node, it is a command-line interface but fully supports the new fee structure. Using the full node wallet would be one way to ensure you have the appropriate tx fees.

You can import your wallet keys from ZWL directly into YWallet without needing to synchronize ZWL.This can be useful when ZWL fails to open.ZecWallet Lite is not responsive until it is fully synced up. If your wallet cannot be synced, you will not...

Yeah trying to use Ywallet. But it does not accept my Coinomi seed (OK it does but apparently its a different universe because my coins arent there). Tried to export a ZEC private key (the stuff I posted above), and says invalid. I think it expects something longer or something.

The reason that the import worked with zecwallet light from coinomi is likely that they were created and derived by the same method whereas Ywallet uses a different method as well as other modern wallets. There is a special method to follow to restore zecwallet type keys in Ywallet but otherwise Zecwallet light may actually still work.

Especially because you got that error. That has nothing to do with the transaction construction, it has to do with the network consensus and the fact that the transaction fee is a little bit too low.

After completing the importation process. Compare the ETH address from the other wallet with Trust Wallet. If they are the same, then you have done the migration successfully. Congratulations!

Coinomi is a popular and well-known cryptocurrency wallet that supports over 500 coins and is available on various devices. Despite a minor setback in 2019, it remains one of the most secure wallets on the market with a focus on user privacy. The wallet allows for easy coin exchange within the app and has a quick and simple installation process. e24fc04721
