Carlos Federico is a lab manager and graduate student who's research is focused on the top-down influence of knowledge formation on ambiguous information processing in the visual system. Specifically, Carlos is studying stereoscopic 3 dimensional processing using random dot stereograms. 

Marisol is a second year graduate student in the Mind, Brain, and Behavior program. Their interests surround the interception between electrophysiological activity and decision-making and how it is affected by concepts surrounding morality. Their current research interests revolves the effects of decision-making based on moral dilemma questioning, while controlling for confounds such as stress.  . 

Jackie O’Connor is a graduate student in the Mind, Brain, and Behavior program at SFSU and a researcher in the Cognitive Psychophysiology Lab. Her research interests center on the neurophysiology of flow states, particularly the neural dynamics underlying sustained attention, cognitive control, and optimal engagement. She is interested in using EEG and psychophysiological measures to investigate how patterns of neural activity change during the transition into and maintenance of flow states. 

Sean Chandler is a lab manager, graduate of the Mind, Brain, and Behavior program, and a full-time faculty lecturer at SFSU. His research explores the neural correlates of mental imagery vividness and cross-modal plasticity.  

Lab Director

Lily Byrd is a research asssistant and an undergraduate psychology major at SFSU. Byrd is primarily interested in researching neurotransmitters, neuroactivity, brain structures, and how drugs influence neurochemistry, neurophysiology, and behavior.
