Emerging Technologies do not Include Gender-Neutral Roads

Women and non-binary individuals in tech often encounter "speed breakers"—subtle yet impactful challenges rooted in cognitive biases. Just as speed breakers disrupt a smooth journey, these biases in technology design hinder the progress of marginalized genders in emerging tech fields.

Our station highlights these systemic barriers, shedding light on cognitive biases prevalent in the design and implementation of emerging technologies like 5G/6G, AR/VR, and blockchain.

Through this station, we aim to expose these biases and their real-world implications, fostering awareness and dialogue to build a more inclusive technological future.
