Paraskevi Topali is a Ph.D. candidate in the GSIC-EMIC Research Group at Universidad de Valladolid (Spain). Paraskevi has a background in Pedagogy and her research interests include learning at scale and MOOCs, feedback provision strategies, and the alignment of Learning Design with Learning Analytics. Her research focuses on how MOOC instructors can be assisted in identifying and supporting struggling learners during the course run-time.
Paraskevi has been involved in the organization of webinars and workshops at national and international level (e.g., EC-TEL, jTELSS), both in collaborative and online settings. The current workshop is aligned with her PhD topic.

Irene-Angelica Chounta holds a joint position in the Institute of Education and in the Institute of Computer Science in University of Tartu as an Assistant Professor of Learning Analytics. Her research focuses on computational learning analytics for technology-enhanced learning and educational technologies, with an emphasis on modeling learners' behaviour in order to provide adaptive and personalized feedback, either in formal or informal contexts.
Irene is experienced in organizing international workshops and conferences, both in collocated and online settings. Additionally, she has an international profile (including professional experience in Greece, Germany and USA) and she participates actively in research societies such as the International Society of the Learning Sciences (ISLS), the Society for Learning Analytics Research (SoLAR) and the International Artificial Intelligence In Education Society (IAIED).

Alejandro Ortega-Arranz is a post-doctoral researcher on Technology-Enhanced Learning at Universidad de Valladolid (Spain). His main research interests include MOOCs, teacher orchestration, and the technologies supporting the design and implementation of active learning strategies in online environments.
Alejandro is experienced in organizing workshops at national and international level. He has been involved in the organization of international workshops (e.g., jTELSS) and conferences (e.g., EC-TEL).

Sara Villagrá Sobrino is an Assistant Professor of Technology Applied to Education in the Department of Pedagogy at Universidad de Valladolid (Spain). Her research is focused in the field of Technology Enhanced Learning with a focus in providing support to teachers in the design, orchestration and the assessment of computer supported collaborative learning activities.
Sara has been involved in the organization of several workshops at national and international TEL related conferences (i.e., CSCL, JUTE) as well as in national and international educational conferences (i.e., CIMIE, symposium on mixed methods research, iberoamerican pedagogy congress).

Alejandra Martínez Monés is Associate Professor of Human-Computer Interaction in the Computer Science Department at Universidad de Valladolid (Spain). Her research is framed in the field of Technology Enhanced Learning, with a focus on the role of learning analytics in providing support to teachers’ pedagogical innovations in different learning situations, including MOOCs. She is member of the Spanish Network on Learning Analytics (SNOLA) and was the chairperson of LASI Spain 2020.
Alejandra has been involved in the organization of several tutorials and workshops at international TEL-related conferences (i.e., ITS, CAA, CSCL, LAK). She is part of the organizing committee of a workshop focused on the teacher orchestration load at the ISLS Annual Meeting 2021.
