Certificated means that an individual has earned a certificate of completion from a paralegal studies program.
Certified means that "an organization grants formal recognition to an individual that meets certain established requirements." (See NFPA's full explanation here.)
Know the difference: These terms are not the same and cannot be substituted for one another!
