Electricity is a vital part of modern life. It powers our lights, appliances, gadgets, and machinery. That's why proper electrical work is important — it must be done according to safety codes and standards to prevent fire, electric shock, or equipment damage.
In the Philippines, electrical work follows the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), and electricians must be trained and certified, especially under TESDA’s National Certificate (NC) programs. These include Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC I, NC II, and NC III, depending on the level of complexity and expertise.
Electrical work is a high-demand skill. Whether in construction, maintenance, or the power industry, skilled electricians are always needed. It also opens doors to self-employment, letting individuals start their own services in residential or commercial electrical repair and installation.
