Overview

The CoderZ Code Farm Hour of Code activity is a short series of videos and game-like missions that introduces students to key computer science and robotics concept. Students will build basic programming skills while learning how computing and robotics are used in modern agriculture.

Getting Started

Teachers need no prior knowledge to lead this activity. In fact, students may log in independently and go through the missions at their own pace. If teachers would like to actively lead the class in discussion and other reflective activities, the lesson plan provides robust support, including a slide deck with speaker notes to guide classroom instruction.

For teachers who would like to track the progress of their students, there is an option to create a class and leverage the full teacher features of the CoderZ platform, including a class heat map and the ability to look at student code.
