You'll be onboarded to a few online tools when you join Pre-Code Ramp—including Google Classroom, Slack, Codepen, and Zoom. If any of these are new to you, we recommend spending some time getting familiar with them.
Pre-Code Ramp will stick to the basics of HTML and CSS and is intended to prepare you for Code Ramp by giving a short taste and what it's like to learning to code. Towards the latter part of Pre-Code Ramp you will be working on a small project to put your new HTML and CSS skills into action.
Completing Pre-Code Ramp and submitting this project is required to move on to Code Ramp afterwards.
If you're ever looking for additional support during Pre-Code Ramp, just talk to the teaching team and we'd be happy to share more resources. Or take a look at how to request a tutor or book one-off tutoring appointments.
If you'd like to continue to pursue learning how to code, most students join us for Code Ramp after completing Pre-Code Ramp. We'll typically spend some time towards the end of Pre-Code Ramp talking about what to expect if continuing on to that class. So feel free to save your questions for then or start exploring the Code Ramp syllabus.
