MONDAY MORNING THE PATTERNS OF RECOVERY | Zoom Version
OPENING
"Good morning and welcome to the Monday Men at Work Codependent's Anonymous PATTERNS OF RECOVERY meeting.
My name is _____________ and I am Codependent. I am your Host this morning."
(Host reads the Preamble)
PREAMBLE "Co-Dependents Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women whose common purpose is to develop healthy relationships. The only requirement for membership is a desire for healthy and loving relationships. We gather together to support and share with each other in a journey of self-discovery -- learning to love the self. Living the program allows each of us to become increasingly honest with ourselves about our personal histories and our own codependent behaviors.
We rely upon the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions for knowledge and wisdom. These are the principles of our program and guides to developing honest and fulfilling relationships with ourselves and others. In CoDA, we each learn to build a bridge to a Higher Power of our own understanding, and we allow others the same privilege.
This renewal process is a gift of healing for us. By actively working the program of Co-Dependents Anonymous, we can each realize a new joy, acceptance and serenity in our lives."
(Host reads the following:)
"All of the following readings can be found on the main page of our website and in the Blue Book of CoDA.
This is a Men's CoDA meeting and we have a minimum age of 18. If you do not identify as male or are not 18, please find a meeting that suits your recovery."
Who would like to read the “Welcome”?
Who would like to read the 12 Steps?
Who would like to read the 12 Traditions?
We welcome any newcomers to the CoDA program or anyone attending this meeting for the first time. Please open your camera and introduce yourself by first name only.
Does anyone have 30, 60 or 90 days? 6 months or 9 months?
Is there anyone celebrating an annual CoDA Birthday?
TODAY'S TOPIC
This is a study of the PATTERNS OF RECOVERY. We rotate the patterns weekly and read from a shared screen on the PATTERNS OF RECOVERY. After the reading, members are invited to share on what these patterns look like in our codependent relationships, and how we practice recovery instead, or something else if they desire.
This is the link to view this material: https://coda.org/wp-content/uploads/Patterns-of-Recovery.pdf
Links to view and purchase other CoDA literature can be found on our website and CODA.ORG.
During Sharing:
We do not judge, offer advice or comment on what other people say in meetings, even if the comment is positive or solicited - this is 'feedback'.
We do not interrupt one another or engage in discussion - this is called 'crosstalk'. When sharing, we use 'I' statements and avoid using the word 'you', 'we', 'one' or addressing someone by ‘name’.
We share our experience, strength and hope with all present in a GENERAL way and do not share lurid or graphics details or other such specifics. We share those details with our sponsors.
Please MUTE your device while others are reading or sharing.
There is a share timer and it will be displayed on the zoom screen.
We do not raise hands in this meeting, we just jump in and share.
Sharing will end at 8:25.
Please stick around after the meeting has ended to share phone numbers and fellowship. We call this the "Parking Lot."
This week we are on the Patterns of_________, which will be shared on our zoom screen.
Can I ask for 2 volunteers: One person to read “In Co-dependency” and one to read “In Recovery”
SHARING - The host or another member starts the sharing on what was read.
HOST NOTE: Attendees share in 3 minute intervals

PROMISES AND SERENITY PRAYER
In closing, we would like to remind you that Coda is an anonymous program and what you see here, what is said here, let it stay here.
Who would like to read the Promises?
After the meeting has ended, we share phone numbers and fellowship. Please stick around!
After a moment of silence please join me in the Serenity Prayer.
"God, grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the Courage to change the things I can, and the Wisdom to know the difference."
Portions are read each week from the "Common Threads of Codependency" booklet over the course of many weeks as we traverse it cover to cover. Sharing is on the material read for that week.

ATTENDEES - HOW OUR MEETINGS WORK:
#SHARING & GENERAL GUIDELINES
1) We do not raise our hands in the meeting, we just jump in when sharing opens.
2) We share our experience, strength and hope with all present in a GENERAL way and do not share lurid or graphic details or other such specifics. We share details with our sponsors.
3) To keep our meeting a safe space for all, please exclude naming: Religions and other institutions, other 12 step programs, mental health diagnoses or suicide.
4) Exclusive use of Co-Dependents Anonymous book(s) at meetings means that the CoDA message is not diluted in any way.
5) Stick around after the meeting for fellowship, especially if you are looking for a sponsor.
HOST SCRIPT/MEETING FORMAT
(Host follows the script, this is the group conscience.)
FRIDAY MORNING COMMON THREADS OF CODEPENDENCY | Zoom Version
OPENING
"Good morning and welcome to the Friday Men at Work Codependent's Anonymous COMMON THREADS OF CODEPENDENCY meeting.

TODAY'S TOPIC
This is a study of the booklet "COMMON THREADS OF CODEPENDENCY". We read from cover to cover over the course of many meetings and share on the one portion that is read today.
Links to purchase this and other literature can be found on our website and CODA.ORG.
This week we are on Page ____ of COMMON THREADS OF CODEPENDENCY, which is under the section titled ____________________.
SHARING - The host or another member starts the sharing on what was read.
HOST NOTE: Attendees share in 3 minute intervals
HOST NOTE: 0825 PST - After everyone has shared:
