Lye Solution is a mixture of distilled water and Sodium hydroxide (also called Caustic Soda or Lye), commonly used to create solid bars of soap, or Potassium Hydroxide to make liquid soap. Soap that is created with lye (which is all real soap) will do absolutely NO harm to your skin.
Glycerin, also known as glycerol, is a natural compound derived from vegetable oils or animal fats. It is a clear, colorless, odorless, and syrupy liquid with a sweet taste.
COCONUT OIL - Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil
Coconut oil is one of the most popular oils in soapmaking. It offers a unique combination of cleansing, firming, and skin-loving properties to recipes. The unique fatty acid composition of coconut oil gives it fantastic cleansing properties. It removes dead skin cells and dirt away from the body. The oil also helps prevent or reduce acne.
Elaeis Guineensis (Palm) Kernel Oil
Palm oil adds a unique feeling to cold-process soap. It helps harden the bars and it creates lather when paired with coconut oil. It is added to skin care products not only for its anti-aging properties but also because it provides deep moisturizing properties making the skin soft and supple.
Castor oil is rich in ricinoleic acid, which helps in fighting the skin bacteria that cause acne. It easily penetrates the skin layers and makes the skin smooth, and supple to vitalize it naturally. Castor oil added to a soap recipe results in a stable lather that is low, dense, and creamy. It adds moisturizing qualities to the soap. Though it's thick and sticky straight out of the bottle, it is easily absorbed by the skin.
CHARCOAL POWDER
Activated charcoal effectively cleanses the skin, unclogs pores, and removes deeper impurities and dead skin cells. The result is smooth, supple, and even-toned skin. Dirt, toxins, heavy metals, chemicals, and other poisons are attracted to the charcoal molecules and washed away.
Coffea Arabica (Coffee) Seed Extract
Finely ground coffee beans can rid the skin of dry, dead skin cells and restore it to a more radiant and smooth appearance. Caffeine is anti-inflammatory for the skin, it also reduces water retention, making skin look less puffy and improves. The antioxidants found in coffee have tons of benefits for your overall health and your skin. Coffee can promote healthy skin by slowing signs of aging, reducing inflammation and dark spots, increasing collagen production, and reducing cellulite.
Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit Extract
Papaya can help you fight the signs of aging. It consists of an enzyme called papain, which promotes the healing of the skin and will also enhance the secretion of collagen when used topically for the skin. Papaya contains natural bleaching properties, topical application can help in lightening your skin complexion. The cleansing properties help get rid of the skin impurities and it also protects your skin against sun damage. Its skin-lightening properties help clear away blemishes and acne scars as well. The enzyme papain, along with the alpha-hydroxy acids in papaya, acts as a natural exfoliator and effectively dissolves dead skin cells.
