Cochrane Pony Club has on average 20 members throughout the years, some stay for 10 years or longer and some only stick around for a year or two. We would like to introduce to you some of our members and their horses.
Kathryn and Abbey

Kathryn is an active member and has represented our Branch at several National and even international competitions (Quiz and Dressage). Kathryn is also an examiner and Pony Club instructor. She is the Youth Rep for the Branch.
Eline and Foxglove

Eline is an active member and has represented our Branch at National Quiz. Eline enjoys taking her horse out on Cross Country and is one of our executive members.
Peter and Vera

Peter is an active member and has represented our Branch at National Quiz. Peter likes to just hang out with his horse and enjoys spending time with his friends in Pony Club. He also joined our executive team.
Zoe and Sully

Zoe transferred to Cochrane from Chinooks Edge. She has been with CPC since 2011. Zoe enjoys dressage and has competed at Dressage competitions (inter) Nationally.

Alison recently started riding with Pony Club and has been very active since she joined. She has moved on to a bigger horse and will surely do well with him.

Emma recently joined our Branch and is all gung ho to learn how to ride, compete and test. Emma transferred from Springbank Pony Club and has been a Cochrane member since 2021.

Piper has been an enthousiastic Pony Club member ever since she joined. She is a brave little rider with a sometimes naughty pony.

Emmersyn is sharing a horse with Peter and is just beginning her horse back riding journey. She has already been an active participant in Educational clinics and Stable management lessons and represented our Branch at Regional Quiz

Sam has joined Pony Club after seeing his sisters have so much fun on horseback. He is riding Aurora, a pony that has taught many riders how to ride in Cochrane Pony Club.
Tricia and Spartan

After her daughter joined, Tricia also decided to get back into Pony Club. She used to be a youth member in the 90's in BC and now rides her young horse in Cochrane.

After a year in 2015, Annette has rejoined as a Horse Master with the Cochrane Branch. She has been an active volunteer with Cochrane ever since her kids joined the program in 2009.
