Redruth

Redruth was once at the heart of Cornish mining and is now part of the Mining world heritage site. Cobweb tours will reveal the tales of this ancient Cornish town, as you take you through the streets that were once home to the great industrialists, including Boulton, Watt, Murdoch and Trevithick all pioneers of the age of steam. The Artist JWM Turner drew a sketch of the main street as he passed through and the great non-conformist brothers John and Charles Wesley preached in the town on a fairly regular basis.

Will and Hetty have several routes through the town all starting at the miner statue under the town clock. Check the bookings page to see when our next tour will be taking place.
