Portreath Tours

Join Will and Hetty as they venture to the coastal village of Portreath during the summer months. Portreath is on the North Coast of Cornwall three miles from Redruth. The small cove has been used as a fishing port for centuries and the rugged coast line with hidden caves made it a perfect spot for local smugglers to land their contraband. Owned by the Bassetts of Tehidy, they turned it into a tranquil retreat when it became fashionable to bathe in the sea. During the expansion of the mining industry the harbour was used to export the mineral ore and bring in valuable coal. Check our Book a Tour page for our upcoming dates.
