This topic involves a discussion of how we balance various life activities, both civic and personal.
For my Balance discussion guide, I use an adaptation of a Living Room Conversation (https://www.livingroomconversations.org/). Discussions organized by the Living Room Conversations organization usually have 6 people, but since they are open source I wrote a version for 2 people: LRC 2 people

"Balance" questions for Round 2:
Answer one or more of the following:
- How do you balance being involved in society (or civic life) and taking care of yourself?
- “Being involved” can be interpreted broadly to mean any of these categories: Being informed about issues and candidates, choosing actions, volunteering, advocacy, dialogue, or anything else.
- “Taking care of yourself” can be interpreted broadly to mean any of these categories: organizing, health, socializing, taking care of finances, or anything else.
- (Note that some kinds of activity could be considered both “being involved in society” and “taking care of yourself”. For example, spending time with family could be done either to help others or to help ourselves. The same could be said for worship or spirtual life.)
- Are there ways that you'd like your engagement in society, or your taking care of yourself, to change or evolve in the future?
- Any time management tips that have helped you?
