Coastal Commander Chaos - General Information

BUILD A DECK IN-STORE AND TAKE IT HOME!!!

A one-day Commander event where players choose a provided Commander and using store-curated cards create a 100-card Commander deck to play against other participants, and then take it home.

We're offering an inexpensive entry point for Commander.

This event aims to teach new Magic: The Gathering players how to play the most popular format, as well as bridge the gap for experienced 1v1 players.

Is this event for me?

LIKELY, YES!

This event is intended for all types of magic players, with any range of experience, but especially new to MTG players.

The event on offer is meant to provide a base for new players to learn how to play Commander, and to some extent Magic: The Gathering, while providing a challenge to more experienced players with an on-the-fly deck-building aspect.

Overall we welcome players with any range of experience and encourage established players to come and help teach new players and challenge your deckbuilding skills.

How to Prepare

New Players:

It is highly recommended that New-to-Magic players play through the tutorial on Magic: The Gathering Arena to get the fundamentals of the game down.

General preparation:

In general, it would help that you come with a plan in mind.

You may bring your own Commander, or even Commanders...

If you are a new player and are unsure of what you would like to play, do not worry we will go through this step with you!

However, if you are an experienced player think about what archetype you might want to brew and any possible commanders that might fit your theme.
