This is a community-driven event, as such we would deeply appreciate your help! We hope, that as a community, we can support new player growth with an affordable way to enter into our favourite format. For this to be sustainable we will need the community.
As such we ask that anyone with spare cards please consider donating to the store. To avoid confusion and decrease our intake of unplayable bulk we would also like to emphasize the type of cards we are looking for and have outlined each section below.

Every deck needs a great Commander, and we all know the amazing feeling of finding our first one. Let's make it a goodie for new players. It's harder to list or define what makes a good and/or fun commander for a new payer but here's a Scryfall list of all the commanders less than 50c US.
Commanders should at least be 1 of the following:
Offer mana or card advantage
Have a unique theme or ability.
Be well supported by their colours.
Be mono, 2 or 3 colours.
The base of any MTG deck is lands and that's why we ask for any lands to be donated including Basics!
But as you know not every deck is just one colour so we ask that you consider donating multi-colour lands as well:
Panoramas
New Capenna Locales
Evolving Wilds, Terramorphic Expanse, Shire Terrace
Command Tower and Exotic Orchard (and other rainbow lands)
Lands for tribes (Path to Ancestry, Secluded Courtyard etc. )
This includes artifact-based ramp, creature-based ramp and land-based ramp, preferably with 2/3 mana value.

It's composed mostly of:
Signets and Talismans
Cultivate and Rampant growth-esque cards
Solemn Simulacrum, Sakura-Tribe Elder, Burnished Heart etc.
Mana dorks (1 or 2 mana)
Creatures doing combat damage is the simplest way for new players to win, and are the heart of Magic. Here are some descriptors for playable creatures:
Are well costed for their ability and P/T
Creatures that draw cards
Creatures that are removal
Creatures that have an immediate or guaranteed effect e.g. LTB, ETB, Static
Creatures that care about their tribe
Interaction is a key pillar of commander deckbuilding and comes in many forms. We're looking for the generic catch-all's of the format:
For this to be a great start for new players and an enjoyable experience for all, we're committed to not handing new players 'unplayable' bulk. These cards would never belong in a non-draft or non-bulk deck, barring some strange slef-imposed restriction or commander-centric role.
Cards that:
Are Vanilla or French Vanilla creatures - no abilities or only a keyword
Over-costed for their effect - e.g. three mana for a lightning bolt
Care about the draft environment - e.g. Conspiracy cards
Additionally, we also do not want to hand new players cards that would hamper their experience of Magic as a whole or detract from gameplay. As such, we are also not using:
Highly Played to Damaged cards
Altered cards
Cards banned in Commander
We understand that sorting cards can be tedious, and we'd rather have your playable bulk than not. If you wish to donate any quantity of bulk, and are uncertain of its value to us, we'll happily accept it, sort it and return cards of serious value.
