Resin/Crushed Glass Class CCreations is offering step-by-step instruction by a local artist, Cheryl A. Devitt who you may have seen at Sanding Ovations, Sarasota, Corey Ave. , St. Pete Beach, Punta Gorda or Dunedin Art & Craft Festivals. (Or on Fox 13 Tampa Bay)

In this class, you will be creating a beautiful Turtle using resin and crushed tempered glass. You’ll learn safety guidelines and techniques to work with resin, a two-part epoxy, tempered glass, and seashells hand-picked by CCreations. You may also choose to bring your own seashells to class to make the project more personal. The shells should be no bigger than 1.5 inches. You’ll need approximately 20-25 cleaned seashells. 

All materials (including Shells) will be provided for an 8”x10”framed art work. Resin Art has become popular because of it’s beauty and durability. We use Art Resin which is non-toxic and has no VOC’s (volatile organic compounds). The tempered glass used is mirrored on one side which adds to the sparkle and beauty.

 The seashells will bring back memories of your beach adventures. Each project will be unique. No experience is needed. Recommended for those aged 8 and older.
