Chesley Jones is a Junior Biology Major, Chemistry Minor from Houston, Texas. This semester Chelsey will be the Director of Logistics! Beside COAS, Chesley currently is the President of Texas Club, a member of Jewels, Inc. and involved in YAALI and Health Professions Society. Chelsey hopes to eventually get her MD/PhD and then practice Dermatology. In her free time, Chesley enjoys meeting new people, listening to live music and podcast, trying new food places, and she is starting to really get into yoga. Nevertheless, Chesley can’t wait to get back on campus and represent COAS!

Nyah Avan is a Junior Criminology Major, Business Administration Minor from Los Angeles, California. In her spare time, Nyah loves to binge watch anime and animated tv shows. Currently, her favorite animes are Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and Attack on Titan. Nyah also loves to do volunteer work and hope to begin volunteering with children in after school programs and with animals in animal shelters. One interesting fact about Nyah is that she is a black belt in tae kwon do and used to practice a lot of different types of martial art when she was in elementary school- beginning high school.

Thajhea Desir is a rising Sophomore Political Science Major from Brockton, Massachusetts. Student Government has played a pivotal role in her life. In high school, she served as the student body vice-president and was the chair of the prom committee. One of her greatest achievements was being voted most likely to become President of the United States; Although she cannot see herself working in the White House, she would settle for Press Secretary. Apart from shopping, she also enjoys traveling. So far, she has been to 8 out of the 50 states, and her goal is to visit all 50 states and 10 different countries by the time she’s 35. One day she hopes to become a political correspondent for a major news network.
