Jonathan Gaither is a Junior Biology Major, Chemistry and Political Science Double Minor from Colorado Springs, Colorado. Jonathan Gaither is currently serving as the Director of External Affairs for the 2021-2022 COAS council. His passions include reading, service on a community level, and collecting vinyl. He also works in the Interdisciplinary Research building studying molecular biology with applications for cancer research.
Fun Fact: I’ve lived on a military base.
Community Service Coordinator
Dominique Ambers is from San Diego, CA and is a Junior Biology Major. Dominique is twenty years old and the second to oldest daughter of four children. Dominique grew up predominantly on the West Coast and as a child of two dual military parents, she has attended 7 different schools and lived in three different states. Dominique once got detention for eating paper during school and a highlight from her childhood would be when she broke her arm doing a cartwheel off a chair.
Fun Fact: I was born 05/2001 at exactly 5:01am.

Ryane Jones is a Sophomore English Major, Spanish Minor from Louisville, Kentucky! With a big smile and bubbly personality, Ryane is a stranger to no one, and can talk to anyone about anything! While excited to start her college career at The Mecca, she prides her hometown and community greatly. With passions in creating equity, liberation and progression of the Black community, she strives to lead and learn in all endeavors and cannot wait to see where her journey at Howard University takes her into the future.
Fun Fact: I performed To Be Real by Cheryl Lynn at my first grade talent show.
