Internal vs external cues: Using tennis as an example
Internal cues are focus points within the body or mind. They help individuals become more aware of how they move, feel, and think during performance or training. See below for examples!
External cues are focus points outside the body. They direct attention toward the environment, the outcome of a movement, or an object involved in the task. See below for examples!

The STEP Model- From Parafed Northland
We also looked at the STEP model and how these modifications can be used when coaching a team.
When using the example of the S tool of this model- are we wanting to make the game easier or harder for our athletes? It will depend on the skill level and strategic thinking of players for you to decide what will make the game or activity easier or harder.
An example being an evading game.
More area- easier to evade.
Less area- harder to evade object/player.
