During my PhD, I led a team of 5 researchers using a variety of experimental and computational tools to discover insights in complex and messy data. I have also taught of variety of subjects from high school math and physics to advanced undergraduate physics to a diversity of students.

More recently, I was working as Head of Data Science at Insight Data Science where I coached over 200 Fellows in their transition to a career in data. I worked at the interface between hiring companies and Insight's programs to intimately understand technical and cultural fit for a variety of data focused roles.

I continue to work as a practicing data scientist doing R&D and engineering for a product focused team. In addition, I am heavily involved in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members.
