I hope you are all doing well and enjoying this great spring weather. I will be updating my webpage each week, so please take a look to see the latest news. The link is below and is also on the high school webpage under my name and distance learning (you should be able to see all your teachers' pages there). A couple of updates, things have changed since we first started distance learning as far as expectations are concerned.
1) We have established as a department and the school, that each of you should be striving to complete 3 activities per week of 45 minutes. You don't have to follow the A/B schedule anymore.
2) Grade Boost! Any student completing 3 activities per week (on the Google Form) will receive a 2% grade boost! This will continue through June 2.
Have a great week!
April 6-10 Message from Coach Lynton: Hello everyone! I hope you all had some time during spring break to get out and enjoy the great weather we had. Starting this week, we are beginning our distance learning phase of the school year. I am sure you all have been keeping physically active while keeping your distance from others. Please look at the distance learning page on this site to complete your work for the week. Instructions on what to do can be found on the page. Please keep in mind that I will be doing daily grading of your activities. It is recommended that at the minimum, you complete at least 45 minutes of activity and record it on the google form.
Speaking of tracking your activities, what apps are you using to track your fitness? Please leave a comment on the google form if you are doing this. Using a tracking device helps you gauge your fitness, record and review activities and connect with people. I like to use an app called STRAVA. You can follow my on it and see what Ive been doing during the break from school.
I will be keeping a running tab of your activities and will have prizes for the top 5 in each of my classes!
Finally, have a great first week of official distance learning.
