All resins used for 3D printing is UV resin, but the different material properties will give different results. The most commonly available resins for cosplay will be Basic, Flexible, Tough (ABS-Like), Transparent.
There are others, such as resins with micro-ceramics for firing like pottery, dental resin, and high temperature, but their uses for cosplay are limited and will not be covered here.
Be advised, since all resins are UV activated, prolonged exposure to UV light will eventually cause the print to become brittle and fragile.
