FAQs
1. How to participate?
You can drop off UNOPENED, UNUSED and UNEXPIRED boxes of treats/sweets/goodies. Our volunteers will then distribute all the items they collect amongst the worker community.
2. Who are the treats for?
The treats are for the wonderful migrant workers of Singapore, who build and maintain and keep Singapore clean & beautiful.
3. What items are ok to drop off?
We are accepting pre-loved items in excellent condition - men's clothes, umbrellas, backpacks, headphones, bedding, etc. Find the comprehensive list on our home page.
We are also accepting Sweets, chocolates, cakes, goodies - anything that is unopened and unexpired.
5. What are the other ways to participate?
You can join our distributions and help handout the presents. These usually last about 30-45 minutes. These will be announced on our Facebook page. Please like and follow our Facebook page ItsRainingRaincoats for future updates
6. Are there any minimums?
There are no minimum quantities or dollar values. You can donate what you wish, as is convenient for you.
We would like to maintain the dignity of our worker brothers, and appreciate your support in donating items that are not stained, torn, worn out, mouldy, broken, with parts missing, or otherwise unusable.
Please ensure everything is cleaned and washed before donating. Note that any items that are not deemed usable will be returned to the donor at the discretion of the volunteers accepting these items
