Welcome to Carnegie Mellon Quantum Computing (QC @ CMU)!
Our mission is to foster a vibrant community of students and research scientists, united in their passion for advancing and contributing to the current and future quantum computing ecosystem.
We will achieve this mission through the following objectives:
We spread awareness and interest in quantum computing amongst the student body. We cultivate a passionate and close-knit community by hosting social events such as ice cream nights, mixers, and quantum chess tournaments.
We connect interested students with quantum researchers, scientists, and developers from academia, corporations, and startups. We run workshops, host guest lecturers, and organize field trips to nearby conferences and startups.
We share opportunities to contribute to the quantum computing ecosystem through our exclusive newsletter. We also foster research groups and both host and participate in quantum hackathons.
