Carnegie Mellon Quantum Computing (QC @ CMU) is CMU's first and only student-led organization dedicated to promoting quantum computing. The club aims to foster interest, enhance literacy, and encourage research in quantum computing among undergraduate and graduate students. Our ultimate goal is to position Carnegie Mellon at the forefront of a post-quantum world.Â
Carnegie Mellon Quantum Computing was started in 2024 in association with the Quantum Computing and Information Technologies (QCiT) Center. Funded by the National Science Foundation, QCiT is CMU's flagship quantum information and computing research center that is rolling out its first graduate research opportunities in 2024 and undergraduate research opportunities in the summer 2025.
